Warriors in Gray

We should all be aware of the prerequisites necessary to make a nation or an empire possible!  There are several areas of human endeavor which must be under the control of those who seek to govern, or else they cannot maintain power.  These include control of the political organization or structure of government and there is the monetary system as well as the police and military.  Another critical item is the control over a fixed geographic area, without which nothing else could allow a nation to exist under any circumstances. Should any of these be removed there will be a collapse!  There are also economic issues which can bring down a government such as a cut off in the oil supply and a long term trade imbalance which will lead to an eventual complete devaluation of a nation or empire's money.  Therefore it is against these items that the viability of a people or nation is judged!

The question for those who believe in all things Confederate and Southern is do we control any of the increments necessary for viability?  Let us review the aforementioned and see if our people control any of them, and we come back with a negative answer.  Our mission a purpose should then be to gain control of all of these areas of human endeavor, and since we are starting with nothing we must rely solely upon perception, the persona we present to the general population.  This persona has been called by many names but it amounts to a demonstration of power.  Such a demonstration must be of such a nature as to cause those people to fear our potential, and to such a degree it becomes possible to effect the decisions made inside the halls of power.  This process is called lobbing, however for the lobbyist to be effective he or she must have something which will gain the undivided attention of the politicians, the mass media as well as the population at large. 

Since we do not hold the actual instruments of power, we must fall back upon how we are perceived, our persona.  Again the term is used demonstration of power, or in this case a perceived demonstration of power, which in our case served the same purpose.  Let me use an example!  You have decided to choose a bright sunny day to visit your State Congressmen at the Statehouse and are even now inside his office speaking.  There's a sizeable window behind his desk with a clear view of the street adjacent to the Statehouse lawn.  The subject you have chosen is a proposal to honor an upcoming Confederate Holiday with a resolution, in addition to a permanent display of the Confederate flag over the Statehouse.  However the conversation is interrupted by a gathering crowd outside growing ever larger and boisterous by the minute.  You yourself are suppressed not expecting such a thing to take place on this particular date.  What could it possibly be about you wonder?

While the congressman's attention is drawn to the spectacle taking place outside his secretary entering the office to deliver some documents for his attention is also drawn the activities on the street outside.  Then it becomes clear as to precisely what is happening!  The congressman excuses himself and walks over to the corner of the office and turns on the television channel to the local news.  There is a special news bulletin on the air and the feature story is the parade of Confederate troops since the early days of the War for Confederate Independence.  There has been no count given thus far but their columns are said to extend back five miles or more.  Why wasn't I told of this the congressman asks of his secretary? Where have all these Confederates come from and how did get here with my knowing?  Dear God the congressman, they must have numbers largest enough to be the envy of General Lee's himself when his army at its largest size.

Why are they here at this time?  The secretary took the liberty to answer, because the seat of State political power is here and they obviously intent to demonstrate a little of their own.  There could be no doubt every individual in the Statehouse with a similar view was looking out the window, and the business of government had come to a stop.  It wasn't but a few moments when the story became national and finally international news, the largest army since the War for Confederate Independence was on the march and given their numbers the world could only stand in awe.  The Confederate have truly returned in force! What lesson then can we glean from this example?  Since we obviously do not posses actual power, we can have a similar effect through a demonstration of power.

The term of what is being spoken of here is a ‘Demonstration of Power’ and it is most assuredly possible, if the advancement of our just and honorable cause is what we truly desire.  If we mean what we say are not merely mouthing cliches. We are not speaking of fielding an army, a militia nor any other type of armed force at this stage, but merely the perception of power.  The choice is ours collectively and those who look to others believing it will be done by others, will soon be disillusioned.  However allow it to be said, there is nothing upon this earth which would be more effective then exceedingly long columns of Our Warriors in Gray on parade.  And we are not necessarily speaking of their wearing historic Confederate Uniforms, only that they must appear Confederate in all respects.
